ABCD

Arti is trying to teach little Aditi the spelling of her name.

"A" says Arti. "A" recites Aditi. "D" says Arti. "B" says Aditi.
Thinking she might have misheard, Arti says "A" "D". Aditi repeats "A" "B".

This goes on for a while and then Aditi exclaims, sounding frustrated,
"अगं आई, A नंतर B येतं, D नाही!"

Wiping off the light

After a tiring Sunday morning spent in vacuuming, washing, cleaning, scrubbing, rinsing, wiping, drying, I was looking forward to the afternoon nap.

But no sooner than I had closed eyelids, little Aditi started shining light from a small pen torch on my eyes.

After bearing with it for a while, I opened my eyes and told her to stop. "Why?" "Because the light is hitting my face and hurting it."

So I lay down again, but had to get up in minutes. Aditi had picked up a napkin and was rubbing my face. "Why?" "I am wiping the light off your face".

I gave up any attempt for nap.
